About Pam...
"Painting gives me a sense of freedom and peace whether I’m outside with nature or in the studio painting a memory. I find inspiration in almost everything from the mountains to the ocean, farm to the city, snow to sand, pets and more. There is beauty everywhere if we choose to see it. The list is endless.
I am drawn to nature, light, shadows and atmosphere to name a few. When I choose a subject, it has moved me in some way or another. I hope that my work will evoke an emotion or speak to the viewer as well. "

Art Fundraisers For Good
I'm passionate about "doing good", especially for animals and the environment. I look for and participate in fundraisers that help preserve important properties so they will be there for future generations to enjoy. A few of these are on the coast, one in Essex, MA and another in Greenland, NH. Another is Beaver Brook in NH.
Every year, I do my best to be accepted. Landscapes for Landsakes Show in NY.

More about Pam
Pam is a pastel artist living in central Massachusetts. Originally from the Saratoga Springs area of NY, she loved to draw and paint as a child. She hoped to be an architect, but, after her high school guidance counselor told her that “girls don't become architects”, she followed her passion for math and science to pursue a degree in electrical engineering and computer science. She moved to Massachusetts more than 30 years ago to pursue her engineering career at Digital then enjoying the challenge and vigor of startups.
The 9/11 tragedy closed the startup sending her home with her 3 babies. To balance the challenging job of parenting, Pam returned to her artistic side. She started off dabbling in oils and watercolor before discovering pastels. Pastels are a luscious, immediate medium. The colors, effects, and possibilities are endless. Pam enjoys experimenting and playing with new techniques. She has recently started teaching classes and workshops to share her passion with others.

Pam believes “Beauty is everywhere if we choose to see it.” and is inspired by almost any subject. Currently, she is most drawn to subjects that spark a memory of places growing up in the Northeast. These places depict her endless love of the great outdoors such as farms, wildlife, the coast, the mountains and more.
Pam has won numerous awards in various shows and successfully exhibited with the region’s conservation related fundraisers. Her work can be seen at Fruitlands, Petersham Art Center as well as the Saratoga Arts Center and in private collections in the US and abroad.
